Bayside Divas is a women's choir performing mainly contemporary a cappella music in and around the bayside area of Sandgate, a suburb of Brisbane, which is the capital city of the Australian state of Queensland. The choir inspires and enriches its audiences in the Bayside area through its concerts, recordings and its appearances at community events.

Our mission is to make beautiful music and to provide an opportunity for women of all backgrounds (professional and musical) to participate in the joy of choral music singing and performance.
Under the direction of a world-class musical director, the Divas strive for excellence in performance, a rich choral sound and a professional approach to our performances. And all this happens whilst having fun!
Bayside Divas was established in June 2004. It had its origins in, and evolved from, the mixed choir — Musical Chairs — which had been formed in 2002.
The choir became an incorporated association in September 2005 and, since that time, has continued to grow in size, expertise and community recognition.
In January 2007, the choir entered an exciting new era when renowned conductor and composer Sandra Milliken became the Divas musical director. Sandra’s long involvement in choral music has included studying and conducting overseas, and the international publication of an extensive list of choral compositions.
As well as performing its own concerts each year, the Bayside Divas are invited to sing at many local festivals and events in the Sandgate area.
The choir also performs at events in Brisbane that, in recent years, have included Riverfestival’s Sing for Water and the Australian Broadcasting Commission’s Choir of the Year competition.
The choir is managed by a five-person executive committee, the members of which are elected, on an annual basis, from within the general membership.
Our motto is in voice, we rejoice.
