DESCRIPTION:The Bayside Divas had the honour of performing at the Australian Citizenship Ceremony on Turrbal land at Sandgate Town Hall on 26 January 2023. While it is not a day of celebration for many\, we were proud to contribute to creating a memorable event for those who became citizens of Australia. DESCRIPTION:Come and join the Bayside Divas as we spread Christmas joy through song at the beautifully lit Sandgate Uniting Church. \nWe are delighted to be once again presenting an hour of Christmas entertainment at the Sandgate Uniting Church’s Christmas Lights 2022. We will be performing on Tuesday\, 20 December commencing at 7:00pm. \nThe famous lights displays\, entertainment and stalls will open on Friday 16 December at 6.00 pm and will continue each night until Friday 23 December. Displays of lights and Christmas items will be located throughout the grounds and building.  Entry is free. \nYou’ll find everything at 116 Board Street\, Deagon. The theme this year is ‘Jesus is the Reason’.

SUMMARY:Dreams of Travel
DESCRIPTION:Following two years of lockdowns\, travel restrictions and being isolated from friends and family\, the Bayside Divas are definitely dreaming of traveling once again and also of returning to the stage to resume our usual round of concert performances. The theme of our first concert for 2022 is\, quite fittingly\,  ‘Dreams of Travel’. which will be presented on Saturday\, 28 May 2022 at Sandgate Town Hall. \nAfter boarding our flight we’ll be “Up Up and Away” on a musical trip to destinations around the globe; first stop\, the west coast of the USA where the “Surf’s Up!” and we can join our friends the Beach Boys. Then it’s on to the east coast to join up with the “Boy from New York City” and across the Atlantic to London where we’ll find the Beatles in “Penny Lane”. \nEurope is next\, dropping in on France for a ‘Chanson D’Amour’ and a bit of fun in Italy riding up to hill-top villages on the ‘Funiculi Funicula’. On the return home there are stop-offs to visit the set of the film Slumdog Millionaire and to see the cherry blossoms (“Sakura”) in Japan. \nThese are just a few of the highlights of our travels\, so to experience the full itinerary you’ll need to ensure you book your seats for May 28. To ensure that as many of our friends and family as possible can join us\, there will be two performances at 2pm and 5.30pm.    \nTickets are $20 adult\, $18 seniors and $10 children under 12 years (children under 5 are free). Online bookings are now open and available through Trybooking.
